Mission Statement

The Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people working together to create a strong area economy and to improve the quality of life for the Greater Oneida area.

Objective

The Chamber's objective is to encourage the growth and prosperity of Oneida and vicinity and to promote the economic, civic, and social welfare the citizenry.

The Chamber will continue to enhance our services and to encourage increased membership to enable the Chamber to offer a foundation of benefits that help member businesses grow and prosper.

Activities & Benefits:

Annual Business at its Best Award Luncheons
The chamber holds an annual luncheon to honor a chamber member business that has a positive impact on our community. Anyone can nominate a member business that exemplifies our motto: “A Bit of America at it’s Best”.

Insurance Opportunities
Our insurance committee has put together more comprehensive insurance plans and other benefits. Present plans are offered to our members through Rome Chamber of Commerce and Support Services Alliance, Inc. These plans are available at a reduced rate to our members and require evidence of insurability prior to acceptance.

"See You" Receptions
"See-You' Receptions are coordinated by the Chamber office, hosted by member first and similar to what other chambers call "Business After Hours" or PM Networking. These provide opportunities for other members to learn more about the "host" establishment and "network" with other business and professional leaders.

City of Oneida Farmer's Market
The City of Oneida Farmer's Market is organized annually and staged weekly on the west end of Oneida Street, adjacent to Broad Street. The Market operates every Thursday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM starting on the first Thursday in June through the last Thursday in October.

Annual Distinguished Citizen Dinner
The Chamber of Commerce holds its Annual dinner each year to honor a distinguished citizen. The dinner is attended by some 250 people and is the largest fund raiser for the Chamber.
